Clashing tens - original painting

They're both strong, resilient and good at most sports or challenges they take on. They don't fear competition and they know what they're worth. Once in a while they glance at each other - wondering when they will stop competing. What if they could start cooperating, how superior wouldn't they be? The problem is that they're too proud. One argues that it would just trigger an earthquake or push them further away. It's better to just go on like they've always done, clashing some ideas and gossip from time to time.
